"Trust in life itself.”
"Trust in life itself.”
Allison deeply believes in the innate wisdom of the body to heal given a supportive and attuned environment. As a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Bodyworker for over 10 years, she has seen the power of presence and touch transform the lives of clients. When the body is given time and space to digest life experiences, it begins to find more coherence and ease. Our current modern society does not always create or know how to give this time and space, but Somatic Bodywork does! Allison practices a blend of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing. Both of these modalities trust and listen to in the Inherent Treatment plan of the body.
Growing up in rural Illinois, Allison fostered a connection with the cycles of nature and a deep respect for the pace of health. As an actress at Illinois State, she discovered the value of self-care and energetic body alignment through the Alexander Technique. This was the ignition for her own personal healing journey. She has had the pleasure of studying Hatha Yoga at Seven Center Yogic Arts, offering Ayurvedic Panchakarma retreats at LifeSpa with John Doulliard and continues to steep in the depths of Craniosacral work as a teaching assistant.
As Allison knows the benefit of receiving bodywork, she also is an advocate for nervous system education. Understanding what the nervous system is and how humans can re-wire it for optimal functioning is a vital component to healing. The original wiring starts at conception and continues throughout life with the early attachment years being a very influential time. Education for caregivers is the necessary step for laying a safe and secure foundation for a child’s development. She is passionate about giving the future generations the best start possible!
She lives with her partner and pup in Lyons, CO. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, hiking, biking, skiing or getting her hands in the earth.
“Life heals itself given the right conditions."

When possible and appropriate, receiving a session with 2 practitioners can be extremely beneficial to mom and baby. This provides both the opportunity for both to receive support as the systems are working and together and impacting each other. This is a beautiful experience and Allison works with a colleague to make this option available.
